Fusilli with brocolli and alfredo sauce

This dish is versatile. You can add chicken, shrimp or vegetables like mushrooms, roasted red peppers or tomatoes. Its very simple to make and enough to satisfy anyone.


Ingredients:
1 1/2 cup cooked or steamed broccoli florets.
2 cups heavy whipping cream warm
5-6 garlic cloves
1 tablespoon flour
pinch of nutmeg
salt
fresh ground pepper
1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Cooked fusilli pasta
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon butter

Directions:
Heat a sauce pan on medium heat. Add oil and butter.
Add garlic, cook for 30 seconds and flour stiring vigorously
and gradually add warm heavy cream.
Cook for about 5 minutes.
Add salt,pepper, and nutmeg.
Stir and add Parmesan cheese.
Add broccolli.
Pour the sauce over pasta, mix and serve.
